A spacious, light filled 2 bedroom apartment was carved out from the ground floor of a London terraced house by extending into the unused side passage at the rear of the house.  The living area is compact, however, a sense of increased space and abundant light is created by the large sliding glass doors, the full width of the apartment, making the garden feel like an extension of the indoor space.
